Change often is the true sign of growth. And at Containment Solutions, we live by this credence. For instance, when we initiated our tank-manufacture business, our tanks were originally designed for the safe storage of petroleum and other combustible materials. In fact, our design work resulted in the UL 1316 standard which governs fiberglass tank manufacturing for petroleum tanks.
With the passage of time, we became aware about the storage requirements in sectors other than fuel and combustible materials. In a bid to cater to other equally critical sectors such those involving a water storage tank and wastewater treatment, we decided to expand our own horizons and diversify our offerings. More than 40 years and 300,000 tank installations later, we continue to improve upon those processes utilizing today’s automation to develop new applications and products.
We applied the same manufacturing expertise and ambition to the water industry when we introduced the Flowtite® water storage tank product line. Flowtite tanks are designed to meet AWWA D120, NFPA 22, NSF 61 and IAPMO standards. This not only helped us reach out to a whole new customer base, but also helped us to challenge our own limits and hone our own skills. The requirements of the water industry are immensely different from those of the fuel storage and handling sector. Backed by our team of experts, we were able to successfully address the challenges and intricacies of the water and wastewater treatment industry.
Today, our tanks are used in wide-ranging applications such as underground and above ground storage in commercial and residential buildings, rainwater harvesting, storm-water collection, portable water, septic treatment etc.
While providing new water storage tank solutions to varied sectors, we have not lost focus of our commitment towards a greener world.
